Trade plate delivery describes the method: our plates go on and the car is driven door to door. Collection and delivery describes the two handovers. Vehicle movements is trade shorthand that some firms also use for low loader work, which is where mix ups tend to happen.
OVM only offers the driven service. The vehicle needs a valid MOT where one is required, we move one registration per job, we photograph it before setting off and the receiver signs on delivery. You then get digital proof of collection and delivery.

Is collection and delivery a different service from trade plate delivery?
No, at OVM they are the same driven service. Collection and delivery describes the proof at both ends of a door to door job, while trade plate delivery describes how the car is moved.
Why do other firms list them separately?
Some firms run both trucks and drivers, so they split their services to keep non runners off trade plates. OVM only drives vehicles on plates, and if you need a truck we will tell you so you can book the right service.
Does vehicle collection mean I have to arrange the delivery?
No, collection and delivery are the two ends of one job. There is no depot in the middle, so we take the vehicle all the way from door to door.
We already have a fleet C&D supplier. Can I book a one off on plates?
Yes, and you do not need an account. Send one registration, both postcodes and the date, and let us know if the delivery is to a customer, as that changes the handover.
