Release first. Storage does not wait.
Storage starts when you buy, not when you remember to arrange collection. Every extra day on the Glasgow yard is a charge the auction bills, not OVM. That is the race.
A driven movement is one vehicle. It does not wait for a truck to fill a deck going the same way. The only honest delay is the gate. Send the release code or buyer reference as soon as BCA issues it. The office checks with the site before anyone is dispatched. If the code has not come through, we hold the booking.
Do not send a driver "to be ready when it drops". A man in the compound queue without authority is a wasted journey and the car stays on charge. The general rule, for every house, is on auction release codes before a trade plate collection.
Storage is the auction's bill
It runs until the lot leaves. We do not dispatch on a hope that the code will land while the driver queues.
Release confirmed first
Code or buyer reference checked with BCA Glasgow before anyone is sent.
