How fleet delivery works
Appraised to BVRLA standards
We assess condition against BVRLA fair wear and tear standards, photographing and noting each defect individually. That gives you a record you can rely on if an end of contract charge is questioned.
Evidence before the handover
The appraisal happens before the vehicle changes hands, so you have an independent record of how it looked on the day rather than a reconstruction weeks later.

Defleets and site consolidations grow by adding drivers to the job, not by waiting for transporter space. Every vehicle needs to be a roadworthy car or van with a valid MOT, and anything that cannot legally be driven is better suited to a transporter.

What is fleet vehicle delivery?
It is a roadworthy car or van driven on trade plates for a fleet, leasing company or contract hire provider. One of our drivers collects it, drives it and hands it over, and you get digital proof of collection and delivery on every job.
Do you move lease returns and defleets?
Yes, as long as the car or van is legal to drive. We photograph its condition before it changes hands so the record stands up later, while a group travelling as one load or anything that cannot legally be driven is better suited to a transporter.
Does the vehicle need a valid MOT?
Yes. It needs a valid MOT and must be legal to drive, and we will suggest a transporter if it is not.
What proof do I get?
You get digital proof of collection and delivery, sent together as one report by email. That gives you and the fleet everything needed to close the job.
What do you need to quote a job?
Just the registration, the collection and delivery postcodes and roughly when it needs to move. Named contacts at both ends help us avoid a wasted trip, and the price shows on screen straight away.
What does the price depend on?
It depends on the vehicle, the distance, how soon you need it moved and what has to happen at each end. A dealer to dealer transfer prices differently from a retail handover with paperwork to complete, so we quote every job individually rather than from a rate card.
Is the vehicle insured while you have it?
Yes. Every vehicle we move is covered by motor trade road risk insurance from the moment we collect it until it is signed for.
What proof do I get that the job was done properly?
You get photographs of every panel, the mileage reading, condition notes and a signature. Proof of collection and proof of delivery arrive together as one report by email when the vehicle is handed over.
Can you move a vehicle that is not roadworthy?
No. Every job is driven, so the vehicle has to be roadworthy, taxed and legal for the road. If it is not, a transporter is the better option and we will tell you so before anyone is sent.
