Trade plate vehicle movements in Leeds

Leeds has two compounds that share a city name and share almost nothing else at the gate. BCA Leeds is LS9. Manheim Leeds is LS26. Buyers mix them. Drivers sent to the wrong one do not collect the car. Storage keeps running at the yard you actually paid. That mix-up is the reason this hub exists as more than a cloned city template.

OVM Ltd, Companies House SC834621. Digital proof of collection and delivery provided. 0141 459 1302.

OVM drives one roadworthy car or van on trade plates, from the site that released it or from your LS roof, Nationwide. The office is in Glasgow. The M1, M62 and M621 are still a normal job.

Two Leeds compounds, then Normanton and Brighouse

BCA Leeds is BCA. Collect from BCA Leeds after release is that gate. A Manheim buyer reference will not open it.

Manheim Leeds is Manheim, in the LS26 geography toward Rothwell and Oulton rather than a shared "Leeds auction" lane. Collect from Manheim Leeds after release is that job. We confirm Manheim's reference and the named collector with this site before anyone is sent onto the M621.

Live city copy called a third yard "BCA Wakefield". The sitemap name is BCA Normanton. WF6. Use Normanton. It is a different BCA compound from LS9. A driver at BCA Leeds with Normanton paperwork is in the wrong place.

BCA Brighouse sits west, on the Calderdale side of the same West Yorkshire board. Same house group as BCA Leeds, different gate. We only name BCA, Manheim, Wilsons and Central Car Auctions here. Older copy listed an extra independent yard against this city. That name is out of this body. If your lot is at a house we have not named, put it on the quote.

auction collection after release is the sequence at every yard. Photographs before it leaves. Salvage stays off plates.

LS streets, the M621 and the towns that are not Leeds

A collection in LS1 or LS2 is often a city roof or a street with no lorry bay. Headingley, Chapel Allerton, Roundhay and Horsforth are retail closes and drives. Cross Gates, Seacroft and LS14/LS15 lean mixed: dealer sites against residential. Morley, Pudsey, Farsley, Guiseley, Otley, Wetherby, Garforth, Rothwell, Wakefield, Batley, Dewsbury and Ossett are the surrounding ends a driver covers when those postcodes are booked. Rothwell as a town is not automatically Manheim Leeds. One is a delivery. The other is a compound. Say which.

The M1, M62, M621, A58, A61, A62, A63 and A64 are how a driver actually leaves. They are not a promise that a truck should have been used. A single unit on those roads is why plates fit. A transporter still wants a Yorkshire deck going one way.

Site transfer between two of your West Yorkshire roofs is not a customer walkaround in Headingley. Say which. Site transfers and retail handovers. vehicle movements is the product. trade plate vehicle delivery is when to book plates. Short miles between LS9 and LS26 do not cancel the condition record. They do not merge two auction gates.

LS districts we are asked about include LS1, LS6, LS7, LS8, LS9, LS11, LS12, LS13, LS17, LS18, LS19, LS20, LS25, LS26 and LS28. If yours is missing, send it. How OVM covers the UK from Glasgow is Nationwide from this office, including Scotland to Leeds and the other way.

Why a Leeds dealer uses plates

West Yorkshire is thick with trucks on the M62. For one roadworthy car that is not the product.

Storage at BCA Leeds or Manheim Leeds runs until the vehicle leaves. Waiting for a transporter to fill a Manchester or Hull load is how that clock eats a single-unit margin. Once the site confirms release, a driver can take a legal car off the yard. That is the auction reason.

The drop is the second. A retail customer in a back street off the Otley Road, a lease return in Horsforth, a hotel handover near the station: one person, panels and mileage, digital proof when it closes. A loading note on a shared truck is a poor file if that customer later argues a scuff.

The third is group stock. Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and a Glasgow or Manchester roof swap one-offs. Five units the same way, flexible date, can still be a truck conversation. One unit needed on a Morley forecourt in the morning is plates. When a trade plate driver beats a transporter is the choice. No MOT, salvage, or a non-runner is already a transporter job.

Rail after a one-way

A delivery into Leeds leaves the driver to get back. Leeds station, Bramley, Burley Park, Cottingley and Cross Gates are genuine rail. None of that is a same-day slot you have not asked for. A Leeds slot is real once BCA Leeds or Manheim Leeds has actually released the lot. Ask for the date. Do not invent one from the station list.

Send it in working hours and a figure within the hour is normal. Fuel is extra. Cover is motor trade road risk.

Common questions

Anything not answered here, call the team.

0141 459 1302
I bought at Manheim Leeds, not BCA Leeds. Does that matter?

Yes. They are different houses. The release, the collector name and the barrier list are Manheim's on that job. A BCA Leeds code is the wrong document. Collect from Manheim Leeds after release is the Manheim page.

Is BCA Wakefield a real compound name on this site?

The sitemap compound is BCA Normanton. Live city copy used "BCA Wakefield". Book Normanton and send that site's release. It is not BCA Leeds.

Why not put a single car on a transporter on the M62?

Because the truck is waiting for a deck. Auction storage is not. For one released, roadworthy unit, plates stop the clock. For five or more on a flexible date, or anything that cannot legally be driven, the transporter still wins. Tell us which you actually have.

Do you cover Morley, Pudsey, Wakefield and Bradford from this hub?

As postcodes, yes. They are normal other ends. Quote the pair. Do not book two firms because one end is outside LS1.

Can the driver hand over in Headingley?

Yes, as a retail handover, with a named person who can sign, on a roadworthy vehicle. Tight streets are a reason for plates. They are not a reason to skip the signature. Site transfers and retail handovers is the difference from a compound-to-compound transfer.

Does a Glasgow office mean the car comes from Scotland?

No. Glasgow plans. Collection is at the Leeds-end compound or postcode. Delivery is the other postcode. Scotland to LS, or LS to Scotland, is still one Nationwide movement. See how OVM covers the UK from Glasgow.
