Stoke-on-Trent is really six towns: Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke, Fenton and Longton. Hanley is ST1, Stoke itself is ST4 and Longton is ST3, so a booking that just says Stoke can send a driver to the wrong end of the city. Reaching the Potteries from junctions 15 and 16 of the M6

Long runs from the south leave the M6 at junction 15 and join the A500, while drives from the north come off at junction 16.
