There is no auction yard in Liverpool itself. Manheim Haydock is the closest, just off the M6, while BCA Carrington lies on the far side of Manchester and Wilsons Auctions Deeside sits across the Welsh border. BCA Preston is further north if that is where you bought.

Speke, Wavertree and the roads around Liverpool

Most drives reach the city from the east at junction 4 of the M62. The M57 loops round the north and east, the A59 heads to Ormskirk and the A561 runs out to Speke. The Kingsway and Queensway tunnels carry traffic under the Mersey to the Wirral. Bootle, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Crosby, Huyton and St Helens are all close neighbours.

Trade units at Speke, Aintree and Bootle have barriers and site managers, and are often in a different L district from the one on the booking. Dale Street, Bold Street and the waterfront are tight, and customers in Wavertree or Allerton need a legal place for the driver to stop. A match at Anfield fills the surrounding roads.

L and CH postcodes sit on opposite banks of the river, and a CH46 address belongs to Moreton, so please give the exact postcode. A short hop from Speke to the city centre is one job, and so is a run from Liverpool to Glasgow.

Lime Street and the trip home

Lime Street is the main station and the usual way home for our driver after a one way delivery. Liverpool Central and James Street cover the city centre, with Aigburth, Aintree, Bank Hall and Bootle serving other districts, so we plan whichever stop suits the drop.
