Getting into Preston from junction 31 of the M6

Most long runs reach the city at junction 31 of the M6. The M55 heads out to Blackpool, the M61 to Manchester and the M65 east to Blackburn, while the A6 and the A59 cover the older routes towards Liverpool and Clitheroe.
