Fleet controllers often work from a list, but we book each car or van as its own driven movement. Every unit has its own collection address, named contact and digital proof, so a condition query on one vehicle never holds up the rest.

Send us the whole list and we will quote every unit that is legal to drive. A block of ten de-fleets on a flexible date, or anything that cannot legally be driven, is better suited to a transporter, and we will tell you so.

A lease return that arrives with an unrecorded scrape can turn into a dispute between the driver, the employee, the lease company and the remarketing buyer. Our photographs settle it. We record every panel, the mileage, the keys and items such as charging cables or spare wheels at collection, and again at delivery.

Fleet collections are often from a driveway, a workplace car park or a branch rather than a compound, so someone needs to be there with the keys. Leaving the car on the drive with the keys posted through the door means nobody signs for it, and the record is weaker as a result.

De-fleets to auction work the other way round. The vehicle must still be legal to drive and someone at the auction must be ready to receive it. A courtesy car swap is two movements when two registrations change places, so please quote both rather than adding the second car to one booking.

Fleet work sometimes includes a handover to a customer taking a replacement vehicle, which is a different job from a de-fleet into remarketing. For the dealer side of this, see dealer to dealer vehicle movements.

Our office is in Glasgow and our drivers cover England, Scotland and Wales. A contract hire return in the South East can go straight to a Scottish remarketing site, and a Scottish employee's car can go directly to an English auction, with no need to bring anything to us first.

Northern Ireland is outside our service. If your job involves a ferry, please call us before booking.
