Four things a good trade plate company gets right

The vehicle has to be legal to drive, with a valid MOT where one is required. A firm that happily takes non runners on plates is not doing this job properly, and a transporter is the right answer for those.

The car should be driven, not loaded. With OVM that means one car or van and one driver, door to door, with no low loader or depot in between. It is worth checking which service you are being quoted for.

You should receive digital proof of collection and proof of delivery. A photo sent over a messaging app is no use if a dispute comes up weeks later. Insurance matters just as much: every OVM job is covered by motor trade road risk insurance from collection until it is signed for.

What OVM does and does not move

We drive roadworthy cars, vans and electric vehicles. We do not move salvage, non runners or HGVs, and we do not load trucks. If a transporter suits your vehicle better, we will tell you at the quote stage so nothing fails at the gate.
