Why each trade plate booking is one registration
We book one roadworthy vehicle at a time, with one collection postcode, one delivery postcode and one driver. That is how our trade plate vehicle movements service works, and every vehicle needs a valid MOT and comes with digital proof of collection and delivery.
A van counts as its own booking too, provided it is legal to drive. We check its height and weight on that quote, so it is never folded into a job for several hatchbacks just because they arrived in the same email.
Moving a list of five cars on trade plates
Five registrations on a spreadsheet means five bookings, or a loaded transporter. One driver with one set of plates can only take one car at a time, and each vehicle needs its own record, its own report and its own set of keys.
If all five are going the same way and can all be driven, we can plan them as separate driven jobs, and our office will tell you whether your date works. They are still five bookings, each with its own proof.
When your list needs a transporter instead
If the cars are travelling the same way and none of them can be driven, that is a transporter load rather than a trade plate job. We will tell you so straight away.
