What a dealer to dealer job actually is
Two motor traders, two addresses, one vehicle. That covers group stock balancing, a franchise sending a car to a sister site that has the buyer, an independent buying from another independent and a trade-in that still has to physically move after the invoice.
It is not an auction collection. There is no compound gate and no release code. Authority comes from the sending manager, the keys and whoever is named on the booking. If the sending site is actually a BCA or Manheim yard, stop and book it as an auction job.
It is not a retail handover either. The person signing at the far end is trade, usually a duty manager, not a customer who was promised a walkaround. The product page that splits those two jobs is site transfers and retail handovers.

Group stock, sister-site sales, independent to independent. The recipient is trade.
