Manheim calls the paperwork a vehicle release or gate pass, where BCA buyers tend to say release code. These English sites matter to Scottish dealers because a car bought in Manchester or Leeds often needs to end up on a forecourt north of the border. Our driver collects from the English compound and brings it straight to your postcode, with no stop in Glasgow along the way.

Manheim runs its own non runner collections on set days, and those need a transporter rather than a driver.

Our driver photographs the condition at the compound before moving off and again at handover, and you receive digital proof when the job closes. An auction description can miss things, so the photographs give you an accurate record of the car you receive.

Our office is in Glasgow and Shotts sits in North Lanarkshire, so the driver collects at the Manheim gate itself. We quote from the registration and both postcodes, confirm release with Shotts, assign a driver and send you digital proof once the vehicle is signed for.
