Cardiff is the capital on the Taff, CF10 in the centre and a ring of CF postcodes that are not one last mile, with the M4 along the north of the city, the A470 coming down from the valleys and the Bay as a different pin from Cathays. From the Glasgow office the run is M74, M6, M5, M4. OVM quotes one driven movement. There is no Cardiff office. A capital is still a nationwide postcode, not a south Wales depot.

The motor trade reason is a city whose groups and independents still have to move stock toward Newport and Swansea. Auction buyers collect after release at houses that are not in the city. The honest nearest Wilsons on the live sitemap is Wilsons Auctions Newport. BCA Bristol sits the other side of the Severn if that is where you bought. Manheim Dursley is the Gloucestershire Manheim. Fleet vans come off Leckwith, Wentloog and Ocean Park units and still need a valid MOT. A retail handover on a terrace off City Road is a person at a door, not a trailer on St Mary Street.
Cardiff is not Newport and it is not Barry. Llanedeyrn, Culverhouse Cross, a yard toward Wentloog and a customer toward Canton are different last miles. A booking that says Cardiff and is actually in Penarth, or actually in Caerphilly, needs the place. Newport has its own page. Morriston and Bridgend already have theirs.

Junctions 29 to 33 of the M4 are how a nationwide job actually reaches the city. The A470 is the valleys road, Merthyr one way, the centre the other. The A48 is the Newport and Cowbridge road. The A4232 is the link road around the south. None of those is a same day promise. A closed M4 at the Brynglas tunnels is a Newport fact that still sits on a Cardiff diary.
St Mary Street, City Road and the streets around the castle are tight. A compound toward Leckwith, Wentloog or Ocean Park is a barrier and a named manager. A customer toward Roath or toward Fairwater needs a place to stop that is legal. Do not send a Wentloog collection to the Bay first.
Neighbouring places: Newport, Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Bridgend. Collection in Leckwith and delivery in the Bay is one job. Collection in Cardiff and delivery in Glasgow is nationwide. If the postcode is CF82, that is Ystrad Mynach, which already has its own page.
Cardiff Central is the main station. Cardiff Queen Street serves a different last mile toward Roath. Cardiff Bay is a different stop again. We plan which one a driver needs after a one way delivery. We do not mix them because they share a city name.
Wilsons is in Newport, not Cardiff
There is no BCA, Manheim or Wilsons yard in Cardiff on the live sitemap. Wilsons Auctions Newport is the honest nearest Wilsons. BCA Bristol is the honest nearest BCA the other side of the Severn. Manheim Dursley sits if that is where you bought. We will not invent a Cardiff auction.

Site transfer versus customer door: site transfers and retail handovers. Named contacts. A locked unit toward Ocean Park and a gated Cathays house are not the same product, even though both use plates.
The tunnels, the valleys and a Penarth mix-up
M4 queues at the tunnels, A470 traffic out of the valleys and a Penarth collection written as Cardiff are the usual failures. If the car is at Wilsons Newport, the A48 is the run and release still has to be in before anyone is sent into CF10. If it is a house toward Canton, the driver should not be sent to Wentloog first. Ask for a date you can keep. Put the district, the barrier code and the person on the quote. Do not copy a Bristol 'am' onto a CF10 booking.
Photographs still happen on a Leckwith to Roath hop. Capital miles are not a paperwork holiday. Newport will not hold a car because St Mary Street was closed.
