With the M5 just east of the city, the A38 running north to south and the A44 linking Evesham and Leominster, Worcester sits neatly on our run down from Glasgow. Every job is quoted as one driven movement between two postcodes. For your records, OVM Ltd is a Scottish registered company, number SC834621.
Junctions 6 and 7 of the M5 and the roads into Worcester
Long runs usually leave the M5 at junction 6 for the A449 or at junction 7 for the A44. The A38 then heads north to Droitwich and south to Tewkesbury, while the A44 carries on to Evesham and Leominster. A closure at junction 6 or a race day at Pitchcroft can slow the last stretch, so we plan timings with you rather than promise a same day slot.
Droitwich, Malvern, Pershore, Evesham, Kidderminster and Tewkesbury are all neighbours, and each one is its own place on the booking. Collecting at Warndon and delivering in St John's is one job, and so is collecting in Worcester and delivering to Glasgow.

Either side of the Severn: St John's, Diglis and the Cathedral
St John's is on the far bank of the Severn in WR2, while the centre is WR1, so a postcode mix up can leave a driver on the wrong side of the river. When the Severn floods and Tybridge Street closes, the right address matters even more. Give us the exact postcode and area name and we will plan the route.
The High Street, Friar Street and the streets around the Cathedral are tight, so a collection there needs a place where our driver can stop legally. Homes in St John's, Diglis or Perdiswell are usually easier, while units at Warndon and Shire Business Park often have a barrier. Please add a gate code and a named contact to the booking.
After a one way delivery our driver heads home from Worcester Foregate Street in the city centre, or from Worcester Shrub Hill if the drop was up the hill towards WR5.
Auction collections from Manheim Dursley, BCA Bristol and Telford
There is no auction yard in Worcester itself. Most local buyers collect from Manheim Dursley down the M5, and you can collect from Manheim Dursley after release with our driver bringing the lot straight back. BCA Bristol sits further south, Wilsons Auctions Telford lies north and BCA Westbury is an option if that is where you bought.
We confirm the release with the auction you name before a driver heads onto the M5, so nobody is left waiting at the gate. Read how we handle auction collection after release. If the car is salvage, it will need a transporter.
Dealer transfers and fleet vans from Warndon and Shire Business Park
A typical Worcester booking is an independent sending a car to a group site in Birmingham or Gloucester, or a part exchange going to Manheim Dursley once it is legal to drive. Fleet vans come off Warndon, Shire Business Park and the WR4 estates. Light commercial vans are welcome if they are legal with a valid MOT, but we do not move rigids or HGVs.
If you have promised a customer in St John's a delivery to their door, our driver arrives in the car itself rather than with a trailer on the Cross. There is more in our guide to dealer delivery and retail handovers.
On a short hop from Warndon to St John's or a long drive north, we record condition and photos at collection, the receiver signs on delivery and you get one report by email.
Booking a WR postcode movement with OVM
As with any trade plate move, the car or van has to be roadworthy and legal to drive, with a valid MOT where one is required. We supply the trade plates, and our motor trade road risk insurance covers it from collection until it is signed for. For background, read what a driven trade plate movement is and how we cover the country from Glasgow.

Common questions
If your question is not here, call the Glasgow office and we will answer it on the spot.
0141 459 1302Which Worcester postcodes do you cover?
Every district in and around Worcester, including WR1, WR9, WR10 and WR14. If yours is not on that list it is almost certainly still covered, because we work right across the West Midlands.
Do you cover the areas around Worcester?
Yes. A driver working Worcester also covers Droitwich Spa, Great Malvern, Pershore, Stourport-on-Severn and Bromsgrove. Collection and delivery can be at either end of the same job.
How quickly can you get a driver to Worcester?
It depends on where the driver is finishing their previous job. Worcester is served by Worcester Foregate Street, Worcester Shrub Hill and Worcestershire Parkway, which is how our drivers travel in for a collection or get home after a one-way delivery. Decent rail access usually means a quicker turnaround.
