Reaching Oxford on the A34, the A40 and the M40

The A34 carries most of our drives into Oxford, linking the M40 with the M4. The A40 runs out through Headington towards London and Cheltenham, the A420 heads for Swindon and the A4142 forms the eastern bypass. A closure on the A34 at Botley or graduation week in the centre can hold everything up, so we agree a realistic collection time rather than promising a same day slot.

The High, St Aldate's and the streets around Carfax are tight. A unit in Cowley, on Oxford Business Park or elsewhere in OX4 needs a barrier code and a named contact, and a house in Headington or Summertown needs somewhere the driver can legally stop. Give us the exact postcode and we will head straight there.

Oxford station sits just west of the centre, and Oxford Parkway serves the north side towards Kidlington. We pick whichever suits the drop when planning how our driver gets home after a one way delivery.

Local runs to Kidlington, Abingdon and Bicester

Collecting in Cowley and delivering to Summertown is one job, and so is collecting in Oxford and delivering to Glasgow. Kidlington, Botley, Abingdon, Witney and Bicester are all regular stops.

There is no auction site in the city, so most Oxford buyers collect from Wilsons Auctions Witney, a short run out along the A40. Once your lot is released, we can collect it from Wilsons Auctions Witney and drive it straight to your forecourt. We also collect from BCA Camberley to the south and BCA Bedford to the east.

Cowley site transfers, fleet vans and retail handovers

A typical Oxford booking is an independent sending a car to a group site in London or Banbury, a transfer from a Cowley site into the city or a part exchange going to Wilsons Witney once it is legal to drive. Fleet vans come off Cowley and Oxford Business Park, and each one needs a valid MOT before we can take it.
