Trade Plate Vehicle Movements in Brighton and Hove

Brighton and Hove is one city and two towns, BN1 on the Brighton side and BN3 in Hove, with the A23 coming off the M23, the A27 running behind the Downs and the seafront as a last mile you do not send a trailer onto. From the Glasgow office the run is M74, M6, M1 or M40, then M25 and M23. OVM quotes one driven movement. There is no Brighton office. Two towns sharing a city name is still one nationwide product, not a south-coast depot.

The motor trade reason is a dense independent belt whose stock still has to move toward Crawley, London and the rest of the country without waiting for a truck to fill a deck on a single A road off the Downs. Auction purchases are not on the seafront. The honest nearest BCA on the live sitemap is BCA Crawley. Central Car Auctions Lingfield sits east of that. Wilsons Auctions Maidstone is the Kent Wilsons if that is where you bought. Fleet vans come off Hollingbury, Hangleton and Portslade units and still need a valid MOT. A retail handover on a terrace off London Road is a person at a door.

Brighton is not Hove. Peacehaven already has its own page. Kemptown, Hangleton, a yard toward Hollingbury and a customer toward Brunswick are different last miles. A booking that says Brighton and Hove and is actually in Portslade, or actually in Shoreham, needs the place. BN2 and BN3 are not interchangeable pins.

A23, A27 and which station on which town

The M23 then A23 is how a nationwide job actually reaches Brighton. The A27 is the bypass, Worthing one way, Lewes the other. The A270 is the Old Shoreham Road through Hove. The A259 is the seafront. None of those is a same day promise. A closed A23 at Pyecombe and a match day at the Amex are Downs facts.

North Laine, Western Road and the streets behind the seafront are tight. A compound toward Hollingbury, Hangleton or the Portslade industrial land is a barrier instruction. A customer toward Kemptown or toward West Blatchington needs a place to stop that is legal. Do not send a Hollingbury collection to the Palace Pier first.

Neighbouring places: Portslade, Shoreham-by-Sea, Peacehaven, Lewes, Burgess Hill, Worthing. Collection in Hollingbury and delivery in Hove is one job. Collection in Brighton and delivery in Glasgow is nationwide. If the postcode is BN10, that is Peacehaven, not this page.

Brighton station is the main terminus. Hove is a different stop on the West Coastway. Preston Park and London Road serve different last miles inside BN1. We plan which one a driver needs after a one way delivery. We do not mix Brighton and Hove because both sit on the same bay.

Crawley is not the seafront

There is no BCA, Manheim or Wilsons yard in Brighton and Hove on the live sitemap. BCA Crawley is the honest nearest BCA. Central Car Auctions Lingfield is the Surrey CCA. Wilsons Auctions Maidstone sits east if that is where you bought. We will not invent a Brighton auction.

Release is confirmed with Crawley, or Lingfield, or whichever site you name, before a driver is sent. The A23 does not open a Crawley gate. auction collection after release. Salvage off plates.

What a seafront dealer is actually booking

A Brighton independent moving a car to a Crawley or London group roof. A Hove site transfer that is actually a different town. A part exchange going to Crawley once it is legal. A customer in Kemptown who was promised a driver. A fleet van from Hollingbury. A single unit that cannot wait for a truck filling a deck on the A23. A Peacehaven collection written as Brighton, which already has its own page.

Site transfer versus customer door: site transfers and retail handovers. Named contacts. A locked unit toward Hangleton and a gated mews toward Brunswick are not the same product, even though both use plates.

Pyecombe, the pier and Brighton versus Hove

A23 closures at Pyecombe, seafront events and a Hove collection written as Brighton with no street are the usual failures. If the car is at BCA Crawley, the M23 is the run and release still has to be in before anyone is sent down the A23. If it is a house toward Kemptown, the driver should not be sent to Hollingbury first. Ask for a date you can keep. Put the town, Brighton or Hove, the barrier code and the person on the quote. Do not copy a Crawley 'am' onto a BN1 booking.

Photographs still happen on a Portslade to Hove hop. Downs miles are not a paperwork holiday. Crawley will not hold a car because the seafront was closed.

The A23 does not replace an MOT

Brighton And Hove does not get a special MOT rule. Valid test. Drivable. Digital proof when the job closes.

Trade plates are ours. The MOT is still yours to have on the vehicle. Truck if not.
