Buyers from Hailsham, Seaford, Newhaven, Bexhill-on-Sea, Heathfield and Peacehaven use us to get cars and vans home from the East Sussex site without waiting for a transporter.
Eastbourne Car Auctions, not BCA Crawley or Shoreham
BCA Crawley and Shoreham Vehicle Auctions Lancing are separate sites with their own gates and release lists. Tell us that your lot is at Eastbourne so the right paperwork goes to the right barrier.
Sending a driver to the wrong compound only delays your car. Our guide to auction collection after release explains the order we work in.
Local runs along the East Sussex coast
A driver already booked at Eastbourne can take extra jobs in Hailsham, Seaford, Newhaven, Bexhill-on-Sea, Heathfield and Peacehaven. Each one is booked and quoted on its own.
Longer deliveries work the same way, priced as one driven movement from the site to your postcode.
Roadworthy lots only
The car or van must be roadworthy and legal to drive, with a valid MOT where one is required. Salvage and non runners need a transporter.
If a lot turns out not to be legal to drive, the collection stops and our office calls you.
Proof, insurance and booking
Our driver records condition, photographs, keys and paperwork at collection, and the receiver signs on delivery. Proof of collection and proof of delivery reach you together by email.
Motor trade road risk insurance covers the vehicle throughout. Enter the registration, Eastbourne Car Auctions and both postcodes for an instant quote, or call 0141 459 1302.
Our own software
Every job is booked, tracked and closed in software we built for the motor trade.
Always driven
Moved under trade plates by a driver, never loaded onto a transporter.
Fully insured
Motor trade road risk cover while the vehicle is driven on our plates.
Proof on every job
Digital proof of collection and delivery, emailed when the vehicle is handed over.

Common questions
If your question is not here, call the Glasgow office and we will answer it on the spot.
0141 459 1302Is OVM the auction's in house transport?
No, OVM is an independent trade plate driving firm. We collect from Eastbourne Car Auctions after release, but we do not run the site.
What does the digital proof contain?
It holds the condition notes and photographs from collection and the signature from delivery. Both arrive as one report by email.

Yes, if the release is confirmed and your quote is for that date. We do not assume a same day slot otherwise.
