Trade Plate Vehicle Movements in Reading
Reading sits on the Thames and the Kennet, RG1 in the centre and a ring of RG postcodes that are not one last mile, with the M4 along the south, the A4 as the old London road and the A33 as the Basingstoke road. From the Glasgow office the run is M74, M6, M1 or M40, then M4. OVM quotes one driven movement. There is no Reading office. An M4 town is still a nationwide postcode, not a second London page.

The motor trade reason is a Thames Valley town whose groups and independents still have to move stock toward London, the M3 and the rest of the country without waiting for a truck to fill a deck on a single M4 junction. Auction purchases are not in Broad Street. The honest names are BCA Camberley and Wilsons Auctions Witney. BCA Enfield sits if that is a London-side buy. Fleet vans come off Green Park, Worton Grange and the RG2 units and still need a valid MOT. A retail handover on a terrace off Oxford Road is a person at a door, not a trailer on Broad Street.
Reading is not Earley and it is not Woodley. A booking that says Reading and is actually in Caversham, or actually in Tilehurst, needs the place. RG4 and RG1 are not interchangeable.

M4, the A4 and three real Reading stations
Junction 11 of the M4 then the A33, or junction 12 then the A4, is how a nationwide job actually reaches the town. The A329 is the Wokingham road. The A327 is Shinfield. None of those is a same day promise. A closed M4 at junction 11 and a match at the SCL is Thames Valley fact.
Broad Street, Oxford Road and the streets around the station are tight. A compound toward Green Park, Worton Grange or the RG2 industrial land is a barrier and a named manager. A customer toward Caversham or toward Tilehurst needs a place to stop that is legal. Do not send a Green Park collection to Broad Street first.
Neighbouring places: Earley, Woodley, Caversham, Tilehurst, Wokingham, Bracknell. Collection at Green Park and delivery in Caversham is one job. Collection in Reading and delivery in Glasgow is nationwide.
Reading station is the main line stop. Reading West is a different last mile toward Tilehurst. Reading Green Park is a different stop again, useful when the delivery is that estate rather than RG1. Earley is a different town. We plan which real station a driver needs after a one-way delivery. We do not treat a miniature railway as National Rail.
Camberley is the nearest BCA. Do not write Blackbushe
There is no BCA, Manheim or Wilsons yard in Reading on the live sitemap. BCA Camberley is the honest nearest BCA. We will not paste Blackbushe onto this page. Wilsons Auctions Witney is the honest Wilsons, not Wilsons Oxford. BCA Enfield and BCA Crawley sit if that is where you bought.

A fleet van from Worton Grange. A single unit that cannot wait for a truck filling a deck on the M4. An Earley collection written as Reading.
Site transfer versus customer door: site transfers and retail handovers. Named contacts. A locked unit toward Green Park and a gated house toward Caversham Heights are not the same product, even though both use plates.
Caversham is not RG1
M4 queues at junction 11, an A4 delay out of Maidenhead and a Caversham collection written as RG1 are the usual failures. If the car is at BCA Camberley, they should not be sent to Broad Street first. If it is a house toward Tilehurst, they should not be sent to Green Park. Ask for a date you can keep. Put the RG district, the barrier code and the person on the quote. Do not copy a London am onto an RG1 booking.
Photographs still happen on an Earley to Reading hop. Valley miles are not a paperwork holiday. Camberley will not hold a car because Broad Street was closed.
