There is no motorway into Southport, so movements run on the A565, A570 and A5267. This is the sort of job where sending a driver makes far more sense than waiting for a transporter to fill up, because a single vehicle is not worth a lorry's time.
Because a one-way delivery leaves the driver to get home again, rail access shapes how quickly we can turn a job round. Southport is well served, with Ainsdale, Bescar Lane, Birkdale and Hillside all within reach, so we can move a driver in and out without tying up a second vehicle.
If you buy at auction, the closest compounds to Southport are BCA Preston, Manheim Haydock Commercials and Central Car Auctions Accrington. We check the release details and the gate procedure before sending anyone, so your car is not sat waiting on paperwork while the storage clock runs.

0141 459 1302Which Southport postcodes do you cover?
Every district in and around Southport, including PR4 and PR8. If yours is not on that list it is almost certainly still covered, because we work right across Sefton.
Do you cover the areas around Southport?
Yes. A driver working Southport also covers Formby, Lytham St Anne's, Ormskirk, St Anne's and Freckleton. Collection and delivery can be at either end of the same job.
How quickly can you get a driver to Southport?
It depends on where the driver is finishing their previous job. Southport is served by Ainsdale, Bescar Lane and Birkdale, which is how our drivers travel in for a collection or get home after a one-way delivery. Decent rail access usually means a quicker turnaround.
