Trade Plate Vehicle Movements in Winchester
Winchester sits on the Itchen. SO23 in the centre. SO22 across the west. The M3 is the London and Southampton road. The A34 is the Newbury spine. The A31 is the Alton road. From the Glasgow office the run is M74, M6, then M40 or M1, then M3. OVM quotes one driven movement. There is no Winchester office. A cathedral city on the M3 is still a nationwide postcode, not a Southampton page we reused.

No Blackbushe and not Southampton
Live unique copy named BCA Blackbushe as the nearest house. Blackbushe is not on the live sitemap. Do not write it. BCA Camberley is the honest nearest BCA. Collect from BCA Camberley after release if that is the gate. BCA Westbury sits west if that is where you bought. BCA Crawley sits east.
Live copy said this page also covers Basingstoke. It does not. Basingstoke is a different town on the M3. Southampton already has trade plate vehicle movements in Southampton. Eastleigh is not this page. Romsey is a different town. Do not treat a Romsey pin as Winchester. Salisbury and Alton already have their own pages.
Release is confirmed with Camberley, or Westbury, or whichever site you name, before a driver is sent onto the M3. The A34 does not open a Camberley gate. auction collection after release. Salvage off plates.
Junction 10 is Bar End
Independents still move stock toward Southampton, Basingstoke and the rest of the country without waiting for a truck to fill a deck on a single Close street. Fleet vans come off Winnall, Bar End and the SO23 units. They still need a valid MOT. A retail handover on a terrace off Stockbridge Road is a person at a door, not a trailer on the High Street.
Winchester is not Eastleigh and it is not Southampton. A booking that says Winchester and is actually in Weeke, or actually in Kings Worthy, needs the place. SO22 and SO23 are not interchangeable.
The High Street, Jewry Street and the streets around the Close are tight. A compound toward Winnall or Bar End is a barrier and a named manager. A customer toward Weeke, Harestock or Badger Farm needs a legal stop. Do not send a Winnall collection to the Close first. Do not send a Shawford job to SO23 because both sit on the same Itchen.
Junctions 9 to 11 of the M3 are how a nationwide job actually reaches the city. Junction 9 is the A34 split toward Newbury. Junction 10 is Bar End and the centre. Junction 11 is St Cross and the south. The A31 is Alton and the east. The A33 is Basingstoke one way, Southampton the other. The A272 is the west. None of those is a same day promise. A closed M3 at junction 9 and a market day in the centre are Hampshire facts. Neighbouring places: Eastleigh, Shawford, Kings Worthy, Alresford, Romsey, Southampton. Collection at Winnall and delivery in Weeke is one job. Collection in Winchester and delivery in Glasgow is nationwide. If the postcode is SO14, that is Southampton, not this page.
Winchester station, then Shawford
Winchester station is the main line stop. Shawford is a different last mile toward the south, useful when the delivery is that village rather than the Close. We plan which one a driver needs after a one way delivery. We do not invent extra halts because a generated list was thin.
What a Hampshire cathedral dealer is actually booking
A Winchester independent moving a car to a Southampton or Basingstoke group roof. A part exchange going to BCA Camberley once it is legal. A customer in Weeke who was promised a driver. A fleet van from Winnall. A single unit that cannot wait for a truck filling a deck on Jewry Street. An Eastleigh collection written as Winchester. A Shawford collection written as the Close.
Site transfer versus customer door: site transfers and retail handovers. Named contacts. A locked unit toward Bar End and a gated house toward the Close are not the same product, even though both use plates. Cathedral streets are why plates fit. They are not a paperwork holiday.
Eastleigh is not Winchester
M3 queues at junction 9, an A34 delay at the split and a Kings Worthy collection written as SO23 are the usual failures. If the car is at BCA Camberley, they should not be sent to the Close first. If it is a house toward Weeke, they should not be sent to Winnall. Put the SO district, the barrier code and the person on the quote. Do not copy a Southampton am onto an SO23 booking.
Photographs still happen on a Winnall to Weeke hop. Cathedral miles are not a paperwork holiday. Camberley will not hold a car because the High Street was closed.
The M3 does not replace an MOT
Winchester does not get a special MOT rule. Valid test. Drivable. Digital proof when the job closes.
Trade plates are ours. The MOT is still yours to have on the vehicle. Truck if not.
