Rhyl has no auction site of its own. Wilsons Auctions Deeside is the closest for most local buyers, and we also collect regularly from Manheim Haydock, BCA Carrington and BCA Preston.

Before a driver heads along the A55 we confirm with the auction that your lot has been released, so there is no wasted trip. Our page on auction collection explains the release process. Salvage lots are the exception and need a transporter.

We also cover Prestatyn, Colwyn Bay and Chester. Each is its own address, so a Prestatyn collection is booked as Prestatyn rather than Rhyl.

The A55, the A525 and summer traffic on the Promenade

Our drivers usually reach Rhyl where the A55 meets the A525, or along the A548 coast road from Prestatyn. The A525 runs inland to St Asaph and Denbigh. Closures on the A55 at St Asaph and summer queues along the Promenade both affect timings, so we agree a realistic collection time with you instead of guaranteeing a same day slot.

LL18 stretches beyond the town centre. Kinmel Bay, Rhuddlan, Brynhedydd and Cefndy each have their own streets, and Abergele is a separate town. Tell us the exact address and the driver will go straight to it.

A short move from Marsh Road to Brynhedydd is one booking, and so is a car collected in Rhyl and delivered to Glasgow. Rhyl station on the North Wales Coast line gives our driver an easy way home, with Prestatyn and Abergele and Pensarn close by when they suit better.

Dealer and fleet moves from Marsh Road to Wellington Road

Rhyl independents often send cars to group sites in Chester or Liverpool, and part exchanges go to Wilsons Auctions Deeside once they are legal to drive. Fleet vans come off Marsh Road, the LL18 industrial estates and the units towards Kinmel Bay, and every one needs a valid MOT.

The High Street, Bodfor Street and the town centre roads are tight, so please add the estate name, any barrier code and a named contact to the booking.
