There is no motorway on the island. The A3020 runs from Newport towards Sandown, the A3054 heads to Ryde in one direction and to Yarmouth and Totland in the other, and the A3056 takes the south road. Which ferry terminal your car will use

Fishbourne is the Wightlink vehicle terminal for Portsmouth, East Cowes is Red Funnel for Southampton and Yarmouth has the boat to Lymington. Ryde Pier Head carries foot passengers only, so it is no use for the car. Tell us which crossing suits the job and we will plan around it.
