Reaching Cambridge on the M11, the A14 and the A10

Most drives arrive at junction 13 of the M11 or the A14 interchange at Milton. The A10 runs north to Ely and south to Royston, the A1307 heads out to Haverhill and the A1303 leaves via Madingley. A closure on the A14 at Fen Ditton or graduation week in the centre can slow things down, so we agree a realistic collection time rather than promising a same day slot.

Regent Street, Mill Road and the streets around the market are tight, while Milton, Coldhams Lane, Stonecroft and the science park are mostly behind barriers. Chesterton, Trumpington, Romsey and Newnham all have their own last stretch, and Histon or Waterbeach are villages in their own right. With the exact postcode, the driver can go straight to the right door.

Collecting on the science park and delivering in Cherry Hinton is one job, and so is a long run to Glasgow. Haverhill has its own page. Closures on the A14 at Fen Ditton, a shut river crossing and a Waterbeach address booked as Cambridge are the usual causes of delay. A lot at BCA Bedford should not see a driver sent to Mill Road first, and a house in Cherry Hinton should not start on the science park. Put the estate name, any barrier code and a contact person on the booking.
