There is no motorway into Bournemouth, so movements run on the A35, A338, A341, A347 and A348. This is the sort of job where sending a driver makes far more sense than waiting for a transporter to fill up, because a single vehicle is not worth a lorry's time.
Because a one-way delivery leaves the driver to get home again, rail access shapes how quickly we can turn a job round. Bournemouth is well served, with Bournemouth, Branksome, Christchurch and Parkstone all within reach, so we can move a driver in and out without tying up a second vehicle.
South Western Vehicle Auctions Poole is the nearest auction compound to Bournemouth. We collect from it regularly. Release codes get checked before the driver sets off rather than at the gate.
We also collect and deliver in Poole and Christchurch.

0141 459 1302Which Bournemouth postcodes do you cover?
Every district in and around Bournemouth, including BH1, BH15, BH19, BH21, BH22, BH23, BH24 and BH25. If yours is not on that list it is almost certainly still covered, because we work right across the South West.
Do you cover the areas around Bournemouth?
Yes. A driver working Bournemouth also covers Christchurch, Poole, Ferndown, Wimborne Minster and Swanage. Collection and delivery can be at either end of the same job.
How quickly can you get a driver to Bournemouth?
It depends on where the driver is finishing their previous job. Bournemouth is served by Bournemouth, Branksome and Christchurch, which is how our drivers travel in for a collection or get home after a one-way delivery. Decent rail access usually means a quicker turnaround.
