There is no motorway into Chelmsford, so movements run on the A12, A130, A131, A138 and A414. This is the sort of job where sending a driver makes far more sense than waiting for a transporter to fill up, because a single vehicle is not worth a lorry's time.
A one-way delivery means the driver travels back by train. Chelmsford is served by Beaulieu Park and Chelmsford. We plan the return leg when we schedule the job, so it does not hold up the handover at your end.
If you buy at auction, the closest compounds to Chelmsford are BCA Chelmsford, BCA Enfield and Manheim Colchester. We check the release details and the gate procedure before sending anyone, so your car is not sat waiting on paperwork while the storage clock runs.

Every district in and around Chelmsford, including CM1, CM3, CM5, CM7, CM8, CM9, CM12 and CM15. If yours is not on that list it is almost certainly still covered, because we work right across Essex.
Do you cover the areas around Chelmsford?
Yes. A driver working Chelmsford also covers Billericay, Witham, Maldon, Wickford and South Woodham Ferrers. Collection and delivery can be at either end of the same job.
How quickly can you get a driver to Chelmsford?
It depends on where the driver is finishing their previous job. Chelmsford is served by Beaulieu Park and Chelmsford, which is how our drivers travel in for a collection or get home after a one-way delivery. Decent rail access usually means a quicker turnaround.
