Deans is not Almondvale
Independents and group satellites in the new town still move stock towards Edinburgh and Glasgow. Auction buyers actually collect here after release. Fleet vans come off Deans, Houston and Almondvale. They still need a valid MOT. A retail handover on a terrace off Howden is a person at a door, not a trailer on the Centre.
Livingston is not Bathgate and it is not Broxburn. A booking that says Livingston and is actually in East Calder, or actually in Broxburn, needs the place. EH54 and EH48 are not interchangeable. Live FAQ copy swallowed Bathgate, Linlithgow, Broxburn and Bo'ness as if they were EH54.
The Centre, Howden and the streets around Almondvale are tight. A compound towards Deans, Houston or Kirkton is a barrier and a named manager. A customer towards Dedridge or towards Ladywell needs a legal stop. Do not send a Deans collection to the Centre first. Do not send a BCA Livingston job to a Howden door because both sit in EH54.
The A71 is the south spine. The A89 is Bathgate and Broxburn. The A899 is the town distributor. Neighbouring places: Bathgate, Broxburn, East Calder, Mid Calder, Whitburn, Linlithgow. Collection at Houston and delivery in Dedridge is one job. Collection in Livingston and delivery in England is nationwide.
Livingston North is not Livingston South
Livingston North and Livingston South are the two real stations, different last miles inside the same new town.
