Trade Plate Vehicle Movements in East Kilbride
East Kilbride is the South Lanarkshire new town, G74 and G75, with the A725 as the spine toward the M74, the A726 as the Glasgow and Strathaven road and six neighbourhoods that are not one last mile. From the Glasgow office this is a short south-side job: M74 or A749. OVM quotes one driven movement. There is no East Kilbride office. Close to Glasgow is not the keep-city page and it is not a reason to skip the person on the gate.

The motor trade reason is a new-town dealer belt whose independents still have to move stock toward Glasgow roofs and the rest of the country without waiting for a truck to fill a deck on a single A725. Auction purchases are not in the town. The honest names on the live sitemap are BCA Glasgow, Central Car Auctions Glasgow and BCA Bellshill. The sitemap house is Bellshill. Manheim Shotts sits east if that is where you bought. Fleet vans come off Kelvin, College Milton and Nerston units and still need a valid MOT. A retail handover on a terrace off The Village is a person at a door, not a trailer on the Plaza.
East Kilbride is not Glasgow and it is not Hamilton. The Village, Calderwood, a yard toward Kelvin and a customer toward Stewartfield are different last miles. A booking that says East Kilbride and is actually in Blantyre, or actually in Eaglesham, needs the place. Barrhead already has its own page if that is the other postcode.
Registration and both postcodes. If collection is a compound, name it. East Kilbride is a postcode pair, not a depot.
A725, six neighbourhoods and the branch line
The A725 is how a nationwide job actually reaches the town from the M74. The A726 is Glasgow one way, Strathaven the other. The A749 is the East Kilbride Road into the city. None of those is a same day promise just because Glasgow is up the road. A closed A725 at the Raith and a shift change on Kelvin are Lanarkshire facts.
The Plaza, The Village and the streets around Calderwood are tight in places the grid does not show. A compound toward Kelvin, College Milton or Nerston is a barrier and a named manager. A customer toward St Leonards or toward Westwood needs a place to stop that is legal. Do not send a Kelvin collection to The Village first.
Neighbouring places: Glasgow, Hamilton, Blantyre, Eaglesham, Strathaven, Rutherglen. Collection at Kelvin and delivery in Calderwood is one job. Collection in East Kilbride and delivery in England is nationwide. If the other postcode is actually Glasgow, use the keep-city page for that end.
East Kilbride station is the end of the branch from Glasgow Central. Hairmyres is a different stop, useful when the delivery is toward Hairmyres rather than The Village. We plan which one a driver needs after a one way delivery. We do not mix them because both sit in G74.
Bellshill and Glasgow. Not an East Kilbride compound
There is no BCA, Manheim or Wilsons yard in East Kilbride on the live sitemap. BCA Glasgow and Central Car Auctions Glasgow are the city options. BCA Bellshill is the honest Lanarkshire BCA. Manheim Shotts sits east. We will not invent an East Kilbride auction.
Release is confirmed with Glasgow, or Bellshill, or whichever site you name, before a driver is sent. The A725 does not open a Bellshill gate. auction collection after release. Salvage off plates.
The keep-city page is trade plate vehicle movements in Glasgow if that is actually the other postcode. This page is East Kilbride as a postcode.
New-town stock, not the Glasgow keep-city page
An East Kilbride independent moving a car to a Glasgow group roof. A part exchange going to Bellshill once it is legal. A customer in Stewartfield who was promised a driver. A fleet van from Kelvin. A single unit that cannot wait for a truck filling a deck on the A725. A Blantyre collection written as East Kilbride, which is a different town.
Site transfer versus customer door: site transfers and retail handovers. Named contacts. A locked unit toward College Milton and a gated house toward The Village are not the same product, even though both use plates.
The Raith, the Plaza and a Kelvin mix-up
A725 closures at the Raith, Plaza traffic and a Hamilton collection written as East Kilbride are the usual failures. If the car is at BCA Glasgow, they should not be sent to The Village first. If it is a house toward St Leonards, they should not be sent to Kelvin. Ask for a date you can keep. Put the neighbourhood, the barrier code and the person on the quote. Do not copy a Glasgow 'am' onto a G75 booking.
Photographs still happen on a Hairmyres to Calderwood hop. New-town miles are not a paperwork holiday. Bellshill will not hold a car because the Plaza was parked out.
