Jump to the form ## Who is responsible OVM Ltd (company number SC834621) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, the quote form, email to info@ovmtransport.com and calls to 0141 459 1302. To ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email info@ovmtransport.com or write to the registered office. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not satisfied with how we handle a request. ## What we collect and why When you request a quote we ask for a name, a phone number and the job details needed to price a movement: vehicle registration, collection postcode, delivery postcode and the date required. If you include a company name or an email address we store those too. Calls to the office collect the same kinds of detail, spoken rather than typed. We use that information to quote. To book and run the movement. To send proof of collection and proof of delivery. To invoice. The legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract. Performing the contract once you book. Our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping a record of the work. The public quote form posts to FormSubmit, which emails the enquiry to info@ovmtransport.com. FormSubmit acts as a processor for that handover. We do not sell enquiry data. We do not use it to build marketing lists. ## Website analytics and cookies The marketing site uses Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the public pages are used: which pages are opened, which devices are used and whether the quote form is submitted. Google Analytics records page views through Google. Mixpanel is configured for an EU project. Session replay, where it is enabled, is masked for form fields so registration numbers and phone numbers typed into the form are not stored as readable text in the replay. Microsoft Clarity records session heatmaps and recordings. Form fields are masked under Clarity's default settings. A theme preference may be stored in local storage on your device so the site can remember light or dark mode. That value does not identify you and is not sent to us. We do not run advertising pixels on this site. We do not pass website analytics to data brokers. ## How long we keep it Quote enquiries that do not become a booking are kept long enough to answer follow-up questions and then deleted. Bookings stay. So do proofs of collection and delivery. Invoices too. We keep them as long as we need them to run the job, handle a claim or meet tax and accounting duties. If you ask us to delete data we will do so unless we still need it for a booking, a claim, a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We will say so plainly if that is the case. ## Your rights You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it. You can also ask for the data you provided to be passed to another controller in a machine-readable form where the law gives you that right. Send the request to info@ovmtransport.com. We will need enough detail to find your record, which for a quote is usually the phone number or email you used and an approximate date. We will not charge for a reasonable request. This notice covers the public website and enquiries sent to the office. Customer-portal and driver-app accounts, where they exist, are documented separately with the people who hold those logins. The form is emailed to info@ovmtransport.com via FormSubmit. We need the registration to quote and to run the job. We do not publish it. How do I ask you to delete my enquiry? Email info@ovmtransport.com from the address you used, or give us the phone number you quoted on. If the enquiry became a booking we may still need some of the record for the job, a claim or our accounting duties. We will say so. Do you use the site to train AI models? The public pages are written so agents can read them, including via llms.txt and markdown responses. That is not the same as sending your quote form, phone number or registration into a training set.
