Registration and both postcodes is usually enough to price it. Jump to the form ## The honest answer is no Trade plates do not magic an unroadworthy car onto the road. The vehicle still has to be legal to drive. For OVM that means a valid MOT and a car or van that can be driven, not pushed, towed or winched. We will not take the booking and hope. If you tell us there is no MOT, or it will not start, the answer is a transporter. That is the right tool. It is not what we do. OVM is stricter than the MOT-test journey exception: we do not drive a car to a pre-booked test as a product. Fuel or charge enough for the first leg. Keys at the collection point. If any of that is missing, tell the office before we quote, not at the gate. Auction stock is the same rule. Cat write-off. A van with no brakes you would trust. Several vehicles going the same way as one load. Those are transporter jobs. We are not going to pretend otherwise to keep the booking. If you are unsure, send the registration anyway. The office will tell you which method the job actually needs. That conversation is cheaper than a driver turned away.
